Darn....It's too bad someone's package arrived a little late.

I respect the fact that you respect the Fallen Officer but waiting in traffic or a slight delay should have been the least of anyone's concerns. Those we had to wait for are the one's that make sure those roads are safe for us to travel on. The people of San Antonio and Bexar County were given ample time / word to re route their day.

Not everyone on the road was a "person of San Antonio" who would have known what was going on. Maybe they should put this info up on the TransGuides so that people know this is going on when it's going on. It's pretty rare, IMHO.

Lots of couriers get paid by the piece. It isn't always about someone's package getting there late, or just a pita to have to wait.....it is their paycheck. Jeez. It isn't like we don't read about you having to wait.3 days for an email. Let the guy vent like you do!!!

It was well publicized on the news, just sayin'.

I guess the 5 or 6 of you that watch the garbage they call "news" around here were well-informed.

Wow, speaking of someone who needs to have a little respect for others...

No, I don't think it was. I watched those tools on Fox 29 that very morning and didn't hear one thing. I mean, I knew that officer died but I certainly wasn't thinking of planning my day around her funeral procession.

I like KABB news.. I'll admit the two in the morning are my least favorites, though. The weekday 9 PM news has a much better group.

Also nice to see others agreeing with me on funeral processions. Where were y'all yesterday when I needed you in the OT? Respect is most definitely a two-way street, but most people forget that other direction...

I remember hearing it on KSAT. I don't recall others. Sorry.

It was, but that's what I'm talking about: someone who's from out of town is NOT going to be watching or following SAT news. LOL. That's why they should put it on TransGuide signs, with expected times for freeway closures/detours.
