I'd like to take the kids to a fiesta parade since this is our first fiesta but I'm not sure where to start. I'd heard the last weekend is the best so I've waited but I don't want to miss anything.

I don't mind if it's a night parade, in fact that might be better so they are not in the sun.

Any ideas?

The night parade is fun, but you have to buy tickets to get a seat. Also, you probably will only be able to watch half of it, because the kids will probably get tired. It doesn't start till it gets dark.

Is there something else that would be better for us? We are total noobs about this.

Maybe you could check out the pooch parade in Alamo Heights tomorrow and then the King William fair?

I went to the Pooch Parade...it's a good event and no food or drinks sold at event...yay! Proceeds benefit Therapy Dogs of San Antonio. Throughout the route, there are spectators set up with water for humans and dogs alike, doggie treats and just folks with their kids and/or dogs.
