Mmmmmm, tortillas. I can eat a Taco Cabana tortilla by itself, as I think they taste yummy (yet I don't care for TC). But, I get an individual container of BK's Zesty sauce and dip the tortilla in that and eat it. Heaven!!!

I have been ill and not had any appetite at all, just thinking of food is a turn-off. Until I came upon this tortilla discussion. Now I'm starving, but only for my description above.

Default Prison Time for tortilla posession you say ?

I think, I could quit tortillas if I had to. I would not want to pay the attorney fees if I was to get busted
for P.O.T. (posession of tortillas).

San Austin - In the corridor of I-35 between New Braunfels and San Antonio, which for years was known as a "speed trap", has today received a reputation for being a smuggler's route. Comal County, where it is said the comals never turn off, has become a hotbed of illegal tortilla manufacturing.

Since it was outlawed by President Perry a decade ago in 2020 it has been San Antonio which has most strongly resisted the tortilla purge. The tortilla cartels were quick to form to meet the demand and the Hill Country with its incongruous terrain of rises and dips and the area's overall proximity to San Antonio made it the perfect place to set up shop.

The Rangers have been sent in to investigate numerous times but by time they discover an illegal tortilla manufacturing center the criminal employees known as tortilla shiners are long gone, only bits of masa, a roller, and two warm comals were found at a site last week.

The Highway Patrol on the other hand have been quite successful with their tactic of merely walking their flour-sniffing K-9s alongside the I-35 during rush hour. One patrolman who has been with the DPS for decades remembers when the big thing was firework violators around the holidays trying to sneak back in fireworks into the cities that had ordinances outlawing them.

"That was purely a city police thing but now with this tortilla business we are allowed to get in on the action. Ours boys have been pulling cars left and right so that by time rush hour is done the wreckers will come in and have a field day," Sergeant Schunk said.

Default Hot, hot, hot!!!

Ok....this afternoon I enjoyed a little TOOOOOO hot a pepper.....and had heard before about how it is the lactose or "milk sugar" that makes milk the option of choice when your mouth feels like it is about to explode with heat.

I read that a spoon full of sugar is the answer.....well, got to try it this afternoon after a crazy overdose of peppers....and I have to tell ya, 1 tiny spoon full of sugar (polish pottery spoon, like 1/6 of a teaspoon) and heat GONE!!!!!!

For those of you silly as I seem to be when it comes to peppers.....LOL

M T;Hope your feelin' better, but when you get a chance visit your nearest Molino and get their fresh homade flour tortillas, get one good and hot over the stove burner or comal let it bubble up,take it off and spread real butter on it.If you haven't one like this ,trust me you'll never go back to BK's Zesty sause.Oh and try the Karo syrup mixed with real butter.

J911 you might want to add:Possession/Manufacturing with intent to Distribute bad/stale/bland tortillas shaped like the state of Florida;Capital Offense that could carry a 1-3yr sentance and must be enrolled in the Culinary school of fine TEX-_MEX cusine particularly in the almost lost art of the TORTILLA making Process.(not a reflection on the good people of Florida)
