How would the commute be from South Austin (Travis/Hayes County Line) to Eastern San Antonio? I would be commuting to the 8900 block of Fourwinds daily from South Austin. Is this possible or would the daily drive burn you out? What would be the appx drive time? This is gonna be a career changing decision, so I wanna make sure this is even possible. Thanks ya'll.

for me personally? there is no way short of earning millions per year that I could justify that one. 35 seems to always have accidents that shut down the entire freeway and backup traffic for miles.
Then again I HATE driving to work anymore, so even the 15ish miles I drive now are annoying..

I suppose south Austin would be a lot better than north of Austin or downtown Austin though. I guess it depends on how much money you would be making and don't forget that your driving costs are going to get pretty crazy, especially if you are honest with your insurance agent when you tell them your commute distance...

It's possible. My borther commutes from the Judson road/ 410 area to Austin every day. It ain't no picnic but he does it. It's probably about an hour drive. Traffic bottlenecks will be San Marcos and New Braunfels and of course San Antonio.

I knew someone that did that commute and went all the way over to the Medina Annex of Lackland. He said it took about 45 minutes, BUT he came in before 6:00 AM.. the time is going to be the key. I personally go in early to avoid the mess, but I know that isn't always an option.

Fourwinds Drive is the Northeast San Antonio, actually Windcrest. Is it feasible at all to move to New Braunfels are closer?

It looks like San Marcos is going to be the location. Leaving S.M. and driving into Windcrest is gonna be the plan. Im hoping I can do it an about 45 minutes.
