Things are happening in this neck of the woods hourly and we can NOT miss out on the "up to the minute" going's on around here.

Here is MY scoop of the day...looks like the Massage Heights next to Wing Stop in the Pei Wei complex should open on 5 Apr or so.

Hoping things are on track...tired of fighting the traffic up to Bandara for my massages!

Anyone know what construction or road work is going to be going on down Potranco? I've noticed that a lot of the turn-ins to communities (like mine is one of them) and other places have had the road scraped. Man, if they are going to be messing with it to make it like pulling in to HEB where I feel like my front-end is going to fall off, I'm going to go crazy.

So I'm not the only one that hates the HEB+ entrance. Whoever designed that thing should be fired! It's also pretty dangerous because people making a left into it almost come to a complete stop, which leaves the person behind them basically stuck on the road with oncoming traffic. and yes I realize you should give yourself plenty of room and I do, but the person shouldn't stop while turning..

You are right, great minds DO think alike!

I have avoided Potranco like the plague...I only venture down that direction on Sat mornings to the dry cleaners...so will have to check it out in the am for sure!

Now, if we could get GW to post an ETA on Sips and More (and ensure that we, the don't have a job in the research park types) can go there when it does! LOL

Yes, I hate pulling in to HEB! I don't stop, but if I have the room (i.e., nobody behind me), I will slow down just a bit. It's just as bad as that little road that runs between the 151 Access and the Dahill/NISD warehouses. I swear I'm going to be paying for some damage to the front end of my car here real soon.

Sips is opening very, very soon - I'll talk with them tonight and tell them to open an account on CD already!

I've never noticed the entrance to HEB being so bad...but then, I live in TR so I typically don't go in that way anyway!

Had my first WhichWhich today and REALLY liked it! Got the Italian Grinder. Anyone tried the shakes?

So...about the original thread. Do we have any idea what prompted the review - so we don't do it again?

I think that entrance on the TR side is the same way...but you just don't feel like those of us who come in off of Potranco with cars piled up behind us and trying to beat the traffic coming toward us. That is definitely not a turn you can take slow that's for sure. Maybe I'll start going to the light and turning in on that side.

Maybe Mr. Butts is reading this and will fix the entrance to his Potranco HEB+ though. I was just there up until closing time and paid closer attention to it. The only screwed up part of the entire street is both of those entrances. It's like they purposely put up a giant tire killer for some reason..
and if he is reading this, make the store a freaking 24 hour store. Some of us live at night and it's pretty silly to close for a few hours and open right back up again. I mentioned that to the cashier and she said it's for stocking. However, they were stocking the entire time I was in the store and I didn't have an issue with that. It's pretty normal in the graveyard hours at stores that are open 24 hours/day.

Yea, one can understand that ALL stores are not 24 hour stores, but this one certainly is busy enough that it should be.

Altho the hours certainly MORE than meet my particular needs, I do believe there are enough "shift workers" in this area to support 24 hour operations.
