That's my point. While it is his personal business, scandalous headlines like this during playoffs is totally distracting. Don't you think ESPN and TNT are going to run with this? My point is, why couldn't they have waited until after securing the Championship to file?

They can't run with it if nobody gives them anything to run with. Tim keeps his personal life extremely private. He's not going to discuss it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of his teammates learned about this at the same time the rest of us did, so they're not going to be useful sources of info.
The story won't blow up if there isn't any fuel.
If you read the story, "T.D.'s" countersuit asks the court to wait until 30 days after the end of the playoffs to do discovery. They're trying to postpone the distraction until after the playoffs.

I don't know the whole situation but it might explain why Tim doesn't seem to be playing well as of late...he has his moments. I hope the media leaves him alone. Having been through a divorce, I know what it can be like...you're concentration level isn't there at times.
