I found out recently that pecan shells are great for smoking, so now I'm trying to find someone who sells just the shells. Anyone have a contact?

I tried smoking pecan shells once... no effect! May I recommend banana peels instead?

I'll hook you up if you bring me the pecans, a nutcracker, and a six-pack of Shiner!

There is a place out in Yancey called American Pecan. Maybe you can call and check with them.

There is place on 90 right outside of Castroville that sells pecans (sorry don't know the name - it's on the right heading West), I'm sure they could hook you up.

Did you try Seguin there used to be a pecan processing plant there," Papes?". I had a friend that used pecan shells to make walkways in his backyard looked really nice and I liked the crunch when you walked on it. Would not to want to walk on it bare footed though.
