What do you think of these efforts?

WASHINGTON, September 19, 2013 — Following the successful recall of two senators in Colorado, another liberal elected official with an entrenched political family seems to be the next target after offending some Christian and conservative groups.

Default Reactionary,

Kind of stupid. On the heels of brinksmanship. A political move of desperation.

It won't happen because too many people in San Antonio are to lazy to do anything about it. They just take it..if we changed our attitude to we can make it happen maybe things would be different around here.

It won't happen because he has too much support. I'm not a fan but he has lots of fans!

Just yet another pathetic, conservative republican attempt to try to gain some relevancy in the public's eyes. Wingnuts have absolutely no legitimate case whatsoever to remove the Mayor. This whole sorry little movement is so ridiculous to think about that it insults my intelligence and probably many others as well around here. But you know what they say, cockroaches scatter and run when the lights are turned on. I'd like to see the ringleaders of this farce of a movement to remove the Mayor held under the same scrutiny as has been applied to Castro during his tenure and see if they come out of it looking as good.

Wow some people are really okay with what he has done to this city. At the rate we are going San Antonio will become the next Detroit. Forget it has anything to do with the left or right this guy is no good for the city! Everything this mayor has done has cost this city money and jobs. Please explain the good he has done that doesn't warrant his recall? We should be ashamed of the pathetic city council and mayor we have.

Please explain what he has done bad to support your predictions.

If I were a conservative, I would be saddened by this story. Stories like this simply confirm that the Republicans will never win another election. They are shooting themselves in the foot. They're getting so desperate. This is really so pathetic and sad.
