We had dogs roaming in our neighborhood for years and my neighbors told me they've called animal control often but they're still around. The dogs are the family, male, female and grown pups. Just a while ago I was feeding a stray cat who's been hanging around and suddenly he took off and I saw the three dogs in mad pursuit.

We had a kitten who just came around yesterday and I think the dogs got it. One dog makes me so mad that he gets into the cat dish and then pee in it. Several times already that I'm ready to shoot him when he gets in my yard.

I guess I can't do that without going to jail for it.

Shoot them with a paintball or BB gun instead. Something that will hurt it enough to remember without you having to go to jail.

I'm pretty sure the BB gun will land you in jail.

Only in Texas you can shoot a human being for being on your property but you can not do the same to cats or dogs. Dogs can be just as much of a danger to you or a threat to your personal property when compared to a human trespassing on your property.

Because animals are killing other animals you want to kill them?

I'd love for a stray dog to chase off and kill all the stay cats. Those things **** all over everything and stink to high hell. Don't feed any stray animals. Please. For your neighbors sake

Sad to hear that some critters you love are possibly being mauled by stray dogs. However, they are all strays running lose. All of them, feral cats included, have the potential to spread disease and cause injury. Are you involved in TNR?

You're getting mad at dogs for doing what animals do? Think about it...you're mad at them merely for being stray and chasing other animals? You're assigning human reasoning to a dog, making it out to be some sort of sadistic creature. It's a freaking dog. Sad that they're out on the street.

YOU are the one feeding a stray cat. It's the same as the dog. A stray. You just chose to feed one and be mad at the other.

He is no longer a stray if he's adopted. Am I correct?
