The 281/1604 HEB is 2.5 miles from HEB Plus at Blanco/1604, and is 2 miles away from the HEB Plus at 281/Evans.

The Bulverde intersection is 3 miles away from 281/1604.

Default bulverde mess

OK, still waiting to see progress on the 1604 end! Utilities are not yet done to my knowledge and they have allowed more construction - apartment complex and housing to start without the road being done.
Very tired of this mess.

So it's already February 2013 and I just drove down Bulverde and don't see this project being done any time soon. I would say perhaps another year then it would be about finished. I'm sure the completed project will look beautiful.
Looking to use Bulverde as a means of getting by traffic on 281. It took 2 hours the other morning to get through 281 because of one of the traffic lights on the super street portion was out. I don't even try to get upset anymore...

Default Bulverde to downtown??

Any suggestions on how to get from Bulverde to downtown San Antonio, avoiding 281/1604 area?

Blanco Rd. is probably your best option.

LoL, if you're not in a hurry!!!!

Blanco turn right on DeZavala to 1604, to IH 10 S. is how I'd do it, unless you're close to Hwy 46. Go Hwy 46 W. to Ralph Fair, to IH !) S.
