My son and I ate at Louie's yesterday, Sunday and the restaurant is very nice, the food was excellent and the wait staff was great. My son ordered spaghetti and meet sauce and I ordered angel hair pasta and meat sauce. The lunch was served with bread and a great amount of meat sauce and a salad. I think the food was great and I will be taking my friend today, Monday for lunch. The restaurant is in the building where Super Salad was, across from Chili's and the restaurant has been open for five weeks. If you get hungry for Italian food, check them out. The manager came and talked with us and he said the restaurant is family owned. Excellent restaurant! I will post a copy of this review on Yelp and Urban Spoon with a photo of their bar. I forgot to take a photo of the food, but today when I return to the restaurant, I will take photos of the food.

I tried it this past Sunday just before 5pm. It was GREAT! It was about a quarter full, they had about 3 servers from what I saw, and service was just fine. The bread was wonderful; chewy and crunchy outside and soft and fluffy inside. Salad was crisp and cold and dressings were good. Hubs ordered the chicken alfredo and said it was one of the best he's had. I ordered the shrimp rustica (or something like that) and it was amazing. The sauce was so flavorful, and the portion size is just right. We will def. go back. They had a cool looking bar as well.

I wouldn't have tried it if not for the posters here. Y'all rock.

I too, would have never heard of Louie Italian Restaurant if it hadn't been for this forum.

Yesterday, I seized the off-peak opportunity to entertain the other half and see what all the hoopla is about.

As every other CD poster has stated, the food was excellent! Salad crisp, breads tasty, pasta on point and the sauces just right! One of our biggest problems was deciding on what to order. The choices were well laid out, but there is only so much one can try in one setting. I opted for the lasagna and thoroughly enjoyed it. My lovely guest enjoyed the fettucine alfredo. By the end of our late lunch, we were ordering to go for her daughter, who would be getting out of school soon. She reported that her chicken alfredo was really good, which really says something because she is a picky eater.

The only derogatory comment was regarding the lacking wine list. Although the by-the-bottle selection offered some enticing options, the by-the-glass options were far less and not as alluring. Being a late lunch, we had no business going for a bottle.

As others have stated, we were greeted by the owner, a nice touch.

We WILL be back!

Default Louie's Italian

How about we just read what folks have to say about something and use that info instead of making fun of how they describe it. I have no affiliation with Louie's...I just found it to have many very good items and wanted to share that info! And if I found it "to die for" then so be it!!!
