Tracking that, Southwest offers one, it wasn't available via my work travel program.

It has been several years, but I have flown a couple of times direct from SAT to Nashville on my way to Lexington, KY. Nashville was my layover point and not my intended final designation.

My job does not care which airline I choose when I have to fly for work. I just buy the ticket and get reimbursed for it later.

Default Mark Twain and Don Mattingly,

Agreed. That greatest American Author Mark Twain once famously stated ,
"There are only Four unique cities in America."
"Boston, New Orleans, San Francisco and...........San Antonio."

It's definitelty a little Podunk, but so are those other cities.

Nashville has a lot of character too, but it's not as great as SA in my opinion.

Anyway, I don't think that SA will ever have great flight options. It's not a major business center. In this regard, it's no different than places like Columbus, OH; Indy; Raleigh, NC, etc.

I largely agree with that list, though it's omission of NY is absurd. There's nothing in America (and few cities in the world) that remotely compare to NY.

Anyway, SA is very unique. Itreminds me of a western version of Charleston or Savannah. I think it's far better than Austin.

That may be true when Mark Twain was alive.

Cities do not become more unique over time they usually lose what makes them unique. San Antonio does a good job of retaining the things that make it unique.

Supply and demand, think H1b or the like. Throw in some off-shore outsourcing, easy with cloud services.

Network admins are not neurosurgeons where they are few and far between. Many network admins can be self taught, college educated, or both. The market is saturated with CCNA certified admins now.

As the other poster put it....supply and demand. Looks like supply has exceeded demand and only the most talented network admins can be the exception to that rule.
