My wife and I are scouting retirement places and we have read a little about Scenic Hills,
which is a 55+ retirement community in Schertz. We would appreciate any pertinent
information on it. We would like to know about safety, quality of construction issues,
affordability, friendliness, retirement lifestyles etc.

Thanks,

DJ

We live in another 55+ development here in SA (Del Webb Hill Country Retreat) and I checked out the info on this place once you posted your questions, mainly because I had not heard of it.

The homes are much older and quite a bit less expensive than ours are here, BUT the HOA fee when checking out the 6 resales currently listed are MUCH higher. Just something to consider.

I LIKE their yards and trees, HUGE and beautiful! The houses are not bad either...for older homes. LOVE the fact they all seem to have a nice, enclosed patio area off the house.
