My car won't start and I need it towed to a mechanic. So I was hoping others have recommendations on decent repair places around the south side of town.

What part of the southside are you on? I've had Temple Hill come down and jump my car before. Don't remember what it cost but it was reasonable. Stay away from Pep Boys no matter what the cost and no matter where you are.

It's on the southwest side, but I can have it towed pretty much anywhere on the south side from West Marbach to East Military drive. And yeah, I'm staying away from Pep Boys after they charged me $120 to crimp 3 wires together once.

What type of experience have you had or what have your heard about Pep Boys. I've used the one on Walzem (NE) and they seemed okay.

Thanks

Marios off S.Presa is as honest as they get. Man wouldnt cheat you or lie to you if his life depended on it. Will show you the parts he takes off, and will give you a documented list of all the time he takes for the work he does. Most of the time can estimate before he starts. Works with several tow companies gets good rates. Towed my sons truck all way from sea world to his place, $45 #532-3514
