Costco-Sam's best prices for here, now want to see it first....and you can get someone to deliver for you or rent a truck for an hour and spend way less than $75

HOWEVER

IF you don't mind waiting 2 days, Amazon.com and pay for prime if you do not have it already and then you will get 2 day delivery free on everything for a year is another option to consider. I buy 70% of what I need (minus food items) thru Amazon Prime and LOVE it! You can find queen sets delivered for less than $500 if you check them out

I always buy my mattresses at Billy Bob's Beds. They have awful commercials and their store looks junky as anything, but they've got good prices and good mattresses.

Ya know, I was one of those folks that went out every 5-8 years to replace a worn out mattress. Went to all of the sales. Then they came out with this BS that no mattress is double sided anymore due to fire rating requirements. So that shortened the usable life to half. I've bought all kinds of mattresses, paid all kinds of prices from hundreds to thousands, and none were really to my liking. I just got accustomed to them over time. Then I discovered that for the same money, you can have a mattress built for you to your wants. I had a Cantwell Mattress with a heavy frame (yes, mattresses have frames inside) with a double pillow top in firm made for me. The Queen size is in your budget. I expect it to be the last mattress I'll need to buy. Make sure to take measurements with you as to height as the box spring/foundation comes in whatever size/height you want. So if your bed is too low, you can get a taller foundation. They also deliver.

I would honestly look at the booming plethora of online mattress companies, most of whom offer 30-90 day in-home trials and will come take their product back in the event you don't like it.

When shopping for my last mattress, I used this guide and it was incredibly helpful:

For the record, I ended up buying a Duxiana. I love it

I have tried them all. I prefer a latex with a euro top (not a USA pillow top). I got mine from a liquidation center for $350, ( they sell store floor / display models).

I would buy my next on-line. You can specify your comfort profile using a mixed combination of 4 firmnesses stacked in different sequence. You never know till you sleep on it for 8 hrs, then you swap the layers till you are the princess and the pea.

We LOVE our tempuredic mattress system with adjustability, but understand it is not for everyone....(kinda pricey)
