Where was your favorite place to eat on Fathers Day, Back in the Day? Mine was Christies Seafood.

What was the name of the novelty store that was in North Star Mall until maybe the mid-90s?

Wow. I do reember Solo Serve and La Feria! It's crazy but I went home to San ANtonio last summer and thought" Where am I?" unrecognizable. I will be going back next week and hope that at least Walzem Rd has somewhat imprived since last year. It looked crazy.

All I can think of it Spencer's, but that's still there near the food court. Where was this other novelty store located?

Bonanza on San Pedro, and the one on Broadway. Also went to the Luby's at Central Park Mall and Mccreless (sp?), and Po Folks on Fred Road.

It still looks a little sad but there is a new 99 cent store thats supposed to bring some traffic.

Sadly No it closed down. The one in austin Closed down like 20 years ago, I Heard The SA Christies shut down around 10 years ago. I am not sure.

Good news Though. If any of you all are in Houston, The Christies there is still open. The costumers are still raving about their Remoulade Sauce. If I ever make it back to Houston. I will be there.
