Nothing against lesbians, but San Antonio does seem to have A LOT of lesbians and many of them have kids also.

I remember reading a few years ago San Antonio is one of the top cities for same sex couples to raise kids. I'm sure there's a mysa article buried within the Internet about it but this was the first thing I found : QSanAntonio - S.A. still first with percentage of same sex couples raising kids

Nothing against them or gay men at all. Compared to where I`ve been recently, SA/Austin has a good ratio of single straight women to single straight men across all age ranges. Unlike say East Texas where they graduate H.S on Friday night, get married on Monday, and get remarried again at least twice in the next 5 years.

Plenty of jobs once you look. This might not be for you, but one you can look into without actually moving here. This would take several months ( or more ) to get hired on, plus you could come to the area and check it out as you went through the initial hiring process/screen before you actually moved to decide if you wanted to or not

Here is Toyota for assembly. Start as a temp for around $16.70-ish + another 60-70 cents for the shift rotation + you get a small bonus & incremental raises on your reviews until you convert over to a Toyota employee ( takes about 3 years to reach that ). It can be a hard job, and most people dont make it. It can be very financially rewarding if you do make the cut though - esp if you dont plan to go to college.

Watch this video first:

Then you can apply here if interested:

https://www.aerotek.com/toyota

The process is as follows:

1. Apply.
2. Take a computer assessment which you can do at home if you apply from a home PC.
3. Come to San Antonio for a 4 hour hands on simulation test
4. Interview ( in San Antonio ) **
5. Physical ( at Toyota Plant ) + Background & Drug Test **
6. Tour
7. Hired

** Once your recruiter calls you with your Hands on Results and wants to schedule you for an Interview, tell them you are coming in from out of town and "sometimes" they can schedule in in such a way that you can stay in the area an extra day ( or two ) and you can knock out step 5 to save a trip.

I should have clarified that I was not looking for blue collar work either.

How is the dating scene in S/A and the ATX "very different"?Just wondering what you meant by that.

Thanks for the offer,TexasRedneck.I appreciate it. I am only interested in women who are never married and do not have any children,Ashbeeigh.
