I consider Ruby's to be a lot like Fridays. Like we need another place that offers a bunch of din with dinner.

Great another chain, just what we need. Ruby T's is basically just another Chili's or Applebees, I have a hard time distinguishing one from the other. More large quantity, fattening greasy fast food.

Default Great Place, Good Service

This restaurant was a great surprise. Good food, fresh salad bar, EXCELLENT service -- just what we needed! Congrats to Ruby Tuesday's!

I sometimes get Ruby Tuesday confused with Red Robin. I'm not crazy about either though.

I miss Bakers' Square....
I miss the ORIGINAL Marie Callendars (I know there are two in SA, but I didnt enjoy the food in either of them, as much as I did the ones in SoCal)...
I miss Moffett's Chicken Pies.... (Norwalk CA and in frozen section of SoCal groc stores)....
I miss Deep Fried Ice Cream at El Torito (SoCal)....
I miss tacos at Carmen's... (SoCal)....

Sounds more that you miss Socal not the food. I can almost guarantee you that the Marie calendars are all the same.

So don't go there if you can do without. Rubys was a place we always went to up north (by up north I mean NY CT NJ ) Loved it as you knew what you were getting and the the food was always reasonable in price and service was great.

Well then I guess you won't be doing much eating in SA, because it seems 80 percent of the restaurants here are chains. You really have to search for mom n' pops. As for Ruby Tuesdays, it's a mediocre diner with mediocre food at a decent price point. I'd take it over Bennigans or Chili's, which I have not been impressed with.

80%? LOL Ok. Nice number, where'd you pull that?

Unlike what, Dallas which leads the country in chains per capita?
