I drove by the old Southwest Buffalo (or something like that) next to the Exxon at Bandera and 1604 today. They are remodeling it for a new Saltgrass, opening soon.Nice addition to the area!

We went to the Saltgrass on I-10 just when it opened. As we were eating, a mouse ran around the dining room - causing panic and shrieks. Good ol' boys were yelling to get a shotgun. My wife calls it the Mouse House now and refuses to go. Maybe she'll go to the new one.

Looking forward to trying out Deco Pizzaria on Fred in the Deco District. We've watched them refurbing that building as we drive by, and per the write up in the Food section today, they're open and to great success. Maybe I can convince my husband to wake up from his looooong Sunday afternoon nap to try it out tonight.

I saw yesterday that The Lodge at Castle Hills was closed and had a For Lease sign outside.

About 2 days ago on his Twitter feed, Jason Dady mentioned that The Lodge is accepting reservations for Easter brunch. You sure about this one?

Chef Robbie Nowlin is leaving, but the Lodge is not closing.

What is going on with The Luxury? (I just can't with that name...)

I saw a big FOR LEASE sign on the property and the gate was closed on Saturday early evening. I'll go by this weekend and check it out again.

Accordingly to Twitter this was referred to as a negotiating tactic. Presumably time to renew the lease and they are in search of a better deal.
