I know the Alamo Ranch one is open, been open for about a month. The Naco-1000 oaks and walzem location should be open in about 2 weeks, one is rumored for the stone oak area.

he told me its hard to find anything in the stoneoak area. Im guessing he is looking for a building already built and not to be built from the ground up. Said he needs an end of a strip to have a drive-thru. My opinion they should start from scratch...more expensive but you'll make your money back. The naco location use to be a pier one imports store back in the day.

Agreed (ground up). An end cap location is usually smaller than a stand alone (for DD), and I have a feeling that it will need the room. Ideally (well, for me, at least), it would be on SB side of 281, in the Stone Ridge SC.

I guess I'm just surprised (and disappointed) that they STILL don't have a location for this area pinned down yet.

Been going to Culebra when I can, Thousand Oaks will be much closer. But I'm still pining for one that won't be 30 minutes away...

Looks like McDonalds is going to be up and running before anything else at Potranco & 151. They've already got the golden arches on the building.

Finally! Hadn't seen anything of interest to me on this thread in a LONG time.

A friend of mine that works for the city of Selma told me that representatives from Twin Peaks http://www.twinpeaksrestaurant.com/ are inquiring about locations along I-35 for a restaurant. I usually don't post anything like this unless I have seen it in writing, but he does work for the city and is involved in situations like this. So nothing in stone, just preliminary.
