I just keep thinking about it from the physical aspect. Wonder what her labors are like? Her babies are very close together, her body doesn't really have time to "get back to normal" (which for anyone that has had babies, is laughable)

I've heard from somewhere that having babies so close together is actually not good on a woman's body. Like it actually takes time off your life or something. Since I've never given birth, I'm not sure if this is true or not. It's just something I've heard.

My dr told me it takes 5 years for a woman's insides to get back the way they were before the baby. She was talking about all the organs going back to where they were. 5 years!

jules........no, it wasn't the former pastor's brother, if you were talking to me.

Weird, but it does actually get easier (at least for me it did). I had my last 2 at home, no drugs whatsoever, and they were actually easier than the previous 2 with AMAZING epidurals! I've also read that all the hormonal changes during pregnancy are GOOD for your skin, less wrinkles. And I've seen that to be a fact in a few ladies. It's all very surreal. (I won't get any more "graphic" here, but would venture to say that ...... ahhhhh... nevamind. )

That is what my old ob told me, she preferred at least a year between giving birth and getting preggers again.

I'm changing the subject now. I am SO totally glad I did not make Christmas cookies! I am craving them right now and if they were in the house...oh mama! I'd be digging in. I did buy some dark chocolate peanut M&M's and that was a mistake. I might have to make hubby take those to work because I WILL dig into them from now until they are gone!!! Darn sweet tooth!

Maybe we should all just take them then for our hair to be nice. Ah, but how freaked out would our hubbies be if they saw us popping pre-natal vitamins all of the time?
