After checking on some previous threads, it's pretty clear that opening of fast food joints here, especially burger places always cause hysteria.

The traffic jam at Ingram & 410 was humongous when Krystal opened. It went on for several days.

I was at that location the first day it opened since a friend just had to go. It was so crowded that they also had a mobile restaurant on wheels parked on the site also cooking those burgers.

Honestly I thought the location was pretty crappy.

Yeah, there was mass hysteria at the Ingram location, and the mobile restaurant and all. Krystal is, or was, popular in the Southern US. I am from Ohio, and the Northern version of Krystal is White Castle. Like Krystal, White Castle has a cult following. Not sure why it didn't survive in San Antonio. Krystal burgers are unique, but I guess for some reason the initial craze was short lived. I have noticed that a lot with new restaurants opening in San Antonio.

Sounds like they did you a favor by shutting down if you were eating burgers every day
