Does anyone know what office this is at? I just saw a doctor and I believe its in that practice. This is so so tragic. My heart goes out to her family and especialy her children. Our world is so messed up.

This was sent to me this afternoon, re why Reagan wasn't locked down. I also heard that a cop was right around the corner, thus the quick response.

Reagan Parents:

I am sending you this email to inform you of an incident that you will likely see on the news this evening. There was a shooting today at a medical facility in the Ronald Reagan High School area. During that time, the campus was safe and secure. A lockdown was not necessary, as the police department handled the situation so quickly.

Sincerely,
Bill Boyd
Principal

Wow very few murders take place on the North side, especially around Stone Oak. It is sad that anyone would let a domestic disturbance turn into homicide. I'm not married but can't imagine being in a relationship in which I would become so angry that I'd take a life.

I just want to thank all of the people praying for Dr. Julie Abbott's family... She was one of our doctors @ North Central Baptist and she was a beautiful person, inside and out... She ALWAYS treated the patients, families & all of our staff with the highest respect...

This is really sad. If that guy lives I hope he gets to rot in prison. I feel for his wife though. Can you imagine being married to a man that turned out so horrible.

And if anyone doubts his intent...why in the world would one go to meet your wife's doctor with a gun. The guy planned on killing her.

Yeah...my mom said the same thing. The news said the cop shot him "several times" so maybe he won't survive. It is sad to think that the murdered Dr.'s colleagues had to try and save that horrible person.
