San Antonio Express News reviewed Paesano's a few weeks back, said it had lost its touch and gave it zero stars.
Went for dinner last night expecting the worst.
WRONG!
Calamari 1/2 and 1/2 cooked to perfection, fresh, crunchy.
Special salad
Red Snapper with Paesano's sauce.
Chicken Parmesan , pasta with butter garlic sauce.

Everything was, as it always has been, perfect.

Service was diligent and not fawning.

I have been going for over thirty years and Paesano's consistency has remained intact. I have no idea what the critic supposedly witnessed.

Perhaps the reviewer should stick to something he/she knows about, perhaps lip rings and tattoos.

I went a couple weeks back to the same location with some co-workers. Had their signature shrimp dish. It was pretty yummy but not at a price that will have me returning anytime soon if I have to pay.

I have never had a bad meal at Paesano's in Lincoln Heights. I love their Filet and Shrimp Paesano Special.

I went there several times for company luncheons and while I wasn't overly impressed, I never experienced a bad lunch or service.
One bad review wouldn't change my mind about places unless I went there and experienced the same.

I remember reading that review and found it odd.
