nobody needs to fool themselves into thinking they can text and drive, because you can't.. that's just plain foolish to even try. sorry, but that's the truth. isn't it illegal too? if not, it seriously needs to be. I once thought I saw a drunk driver in the middle of the day on 90, but it was a girl texting while driving all over the place at 70+ MPH.. just beyond stupid

A carload of teen girls died out on I-30 east of Dallas (which is a pretty deadly road anyway) but it was determined that she was DWT. It really needs to be illegal.

Ooops, I thought there was a wreck on 30--the link I found shows it was actually in NY--but I could swear a very similar accident happened out east of Dallas. Oh well, either way, it was awful.

Yes RD, we were just kidding. I HATE, HATE, HATE to see people texting and driving. It makes me so angry They are always driving all over the road. I work with a few of those idiots and when you tell them something they just laugh and say "whatever". One day they will have an accident while texting .

I could believe that - Pierce County (one to the south of here) is home of terrible drivers. And anything bizarre in the news... it came from down there. New Mexico though, that's home of the worst I've come across. NM plates are like a warning sign to everybody else.
