Kobe is getting ready to take over. If he's not hot, then he'll act injured, making that the excuse for their loss.

Not that I had a great opinion of Kobe anyway....but this article definitely added to why I dislike him so much: Ventre: It's put-up or shut-up time for Kobe - NBA - MSNBC.com

I was really lucky to go to a bunch in 2003 - at least 2 each round. Back then tickets were available and still reasonable (most I paid was $50, Game 1 of the FINALS, good mid-range seats). Least I paid was $12. I tried again but no luck.

It really is amazing being AT a game. Well worth it once in awhile. With a small kid now, we don't even get out to the bars to watch. I have to settle for listening on the radio

We went to opening night at the SBC center--the first-ever game played there. 7th row seats. It was amazing! We had an awesome meal up on the top floor, then moved down to our seats, and of course, we won that night! You could almost feel the sweat dripping off the guys--yes, everyone should go--I just love the games at home, too! My husband's ticket price last week was $348 or something absurd--luckily they were given to him!

I went to one game at the AT&T center. We were literally in the back row. The wall was to my back. Not a good place to be for someone that's afraid of heights. I was trying to crawl over one woman's legs and looked down...I got so scared I grabbed onto the woman's shoulders and no matter how hard I tried I could.not.let.go. I just kept saying "I'm sorry I'm sorry" Finally my husband grabbed my hand and was able to yank me off her.

Great article.
"Tim Duncan....makes Alan Greenspan look like a hard partyer." They clearly have never seen his HEB commercials! That's what I love about Timmy. He's all business, but he can be as funny as Brent Barry. I'd love to hang out with them all!

And I really don't get the boring label. Far too many times for my nerves the Spurs have taken it to the wire. That's anything but boring!
