The first Friday of the month there is a meet in Bandera for hotrods and motorcycles. I don't know all the details, I just found out about it last week.

When I get more details I will let y'all know.

we are coming from Ohio for 4 days a monday - thursday. Does San Antonio have any car meets during the week? We have them every evening of the week here in the summer.

We went to the monthly Castroville show a couple of weeks back, the one held at Wommack Chevrolet. It was pretty cool! Here are just a few of the pics I took...

Go hungry, as there's a guy grilling burgers there that are delicious!

Cheers! M2

Just to note this meet is the second Friday night of every month at Wommack Chevrolet on Hwy 90 in
Castroville. I think it may just happen during the warmer months (which is why there was one in March! ), but I know for sure it'll be happening for at least the next 6-7 months or more. I believe they may take a break during November and December, call Wommack Chevrolet or just ask one of the numerous employees they have at the show!

Cheers! M2

True, my teenage son, who is studying for his license and who is also a big petrolhead (to use the British Top Gear slang, has been asking about going out to the big Castroville car meet again. It was a lot of fun and we are past due...
