No....what's that?

I do go to a local sports forum, but I don't say much, mostly read and come back over here. I do believe he's a poster over there, but they have a ton 'o trolls so I am never quite sure what's what.

It's a great site, but it's been hard to be a newbie there.

I like Chris Duel in small doses. I think it's way cool that he has such an active message board and I appreciate that he blazes his own trail on the radio. Even he admits (along with Booms) that the Duel and Booms experiment at WOAI was a miserable failure.

I'm not impressed with his replacement, Jeff Koch. He sounds too small-market to me.

I have trouble remembering to tune my radio to 1250 to listen to CD. I don't care for most of the ESPN national hosts and I find Paul Alexander to be like nails on a chalkboard.

Like I said, try the Thompson brothers. They get a little silly at times but they're entertaining.

No one gets under my skin like Pags does.

Good to see there's an alternative to 760 when they're braodcasting baseball games.

finally a thread for my generation who can't stand Chris Duel . his constant sponsor hawking ERRRRRRR show on 1250 is unlistenable . do they ever actually talk about sports or just wait for one of their sponsors ERRRRRRRRRRR SOME CHEERLEADER HAWKING A CALENDER to show up at RIO RIO CANTEENA ?
the grind....that's a well oiled sports talk show .

as for 760, do they have engineers over there ? if it's not ads running right over the sports updates, it's dead air . listen 760, i'll personally chip in for some new PSAs . although if i hear any one of the following just one more time, i get a free spot on mike taylor's show (took me 3 years but now i love it):
* andie macdowell can not only ruin any movie but actually make me care less about ''changing the world'' via antipollution
* no st. judes, i can't think of a world without children, why would u ?
* maybe it's not the cigarette & alcohol content in r rated movies that is bad for your kids but rather the fact you are letting your underaged kids watch rated r movies
* i don't want to 'get ready, get set, and get tech'

I know I don't post here very often, but I do lurk just about every day. Anyway, I came accross this thread and I was extremely shocked to find that people still actually listen to AM radio!

Paul Alexander left 1250 back in December, think he took another radio gig somewhere. SA sports radio is a joke, Duel is dreadful how that guy has a job is beyond me. Mike Taylor is a dallas sportsfan in SA? 760 is just as bad at 1250.
