What ever happend to Bacconnes, or I think that was the name of it that was located across from Longhorn Cafe on Blanco just south of 1604? Last I was over there it was something called Friggin' Bull or something. I used to like that resturant. Also it's not really much more than Pizza, but if you want amazing pizza (not dilevery) more of a gorurmet and an awesome outside atmosphere there is Fralo's off of Boerne Stage Rd. caddy corner from the Dominion. You can also bring your own wine, and there are occasionally some very nice small bands, and outdoor fire.

Firkin Bull. I ate there when it was Boccone's--meh, overpriced if you ask me. Boccone's closed. Firkin Bull was like a Bennigan's on steroids. If I remember correctly, there was another restaurant there after Boccone's, before Firkin', and they served me undercooked pork, but the waitress assured me it was high-quality pork and it being undercooked and bloody was absolutely OK , and they did not want to finish cooking it for me. I can't remember the name.......anyway, once was enough for me. That location has not been good for anyone.

Jason Dady just opened an Italian place, forgot the name. He is the chef behind The Lodge and Bin 555.

It's still around, they exist in a strip mall on West Ave. and Bitter's near the Embassy Theaters. Their food really sucks now, but I want them to last solely for their Bambino Huey desert, which you can buy from their location and warm up in the oven.
