I am planning to spend the Spring Break in San Antonio. Since I am taking my family with me, I am looking for a safe and decent area to stay for three days somewhere between the downtown and seaworld/six flags area. I would appreciate if you can name some nice places to stay.

Thanks

Any hotels on the north side off 1604 are going to be great.

^of course that wouldn't be anywhere close to between downtown and seaworld/six flags. The omni hotel off of I-10 would be great choice. The new la quinta suites at 281 and 410 by the airport would be good too, it's more equal distance between downtown and attractions.

there's quite a few place very near seaworld and downtown. Try any place off of 410 and 151 Ingram, Culebra area.

My first thought was the Omni off of I10 also.

You also might want to consider the Marriott Rivercenter downtown on the riverwalk.

I know where six flags is , but you don't where downtown is apparently, because it comes no where close to 1604 which is why the Omni would be perfect, because it is on I-10 between Six Flags and Downtown, and it's wouldn't be hard to hop on 410 to get to sea world.

There is a marriot northwest on 410/I10..Although its kinda old. Somewhere cheaper would be Drury Inn...Pretty much across I10 from the Omni...Theres various smaller chains along 410..

The Drury on I-10 @ Wurzbach is a great family friendly hotel. They have a great breakfast buffet every morning and evening snacks (which was pizza and mac-n-cheese when we were there) plus free beverages adult and otherwise.
They are suites so that gives you more room. Indoor pool and hot tub.

The Omni is a nice hotel I don't like staying there with my kids though.

We also like to stay downtown at the Homewood Suites on the Riverwalk. That is my preferred place to stay in San Antonio.

Good luck hope you have a great time.
