According to this report there were 117 businesses robbed on the east side and 112 on the north side. Why would the headline read like this. This is the bias reporting that is always done in S.A.

Well...the article goes into detail that this time last year the east side had recorded 82 robberies. It didn't say what the north side had last year. It wasn't really comparing areas as much as stats from a year ago in the same place.....with a significant increase.

There is a web site with info for areas across the city. You might want to google it for comparison to other areas.

You might want to read the article before trying to defend this bias headline. The article states that the north side had 87 last year at this time. Both sides of town have seen a significant increase.

As expected with the way the economy is looking... it torques my hide also that it is always an West/East/South side thing.. it is a SAN ANTONIO/United States thing.. it is happening everywhere... everyone needs to open their eyes to it..

Hey A....I'm not trying to pick a fight.... just trying to clarify. While it's not a huge margin....the article is simple saying that the stats for the east side were lower last year....and grew by a bigger margin. This wasn't a defense of anything.....just facts.

I just dislike WOAI period. They don't need to do much more to make me not watch them.

What do they consider the north side?

San Pedro and 410 is a world apart from 1604 and Stone Oak Parkway

So what you are telling me, that if you had written this article, this would be your headline. You don't seem to get it. Most people just look at headlines and glance over the article, but it's the headline that people remember. This is just another example of the biased reports by the local media. When you read this headline you would have no idea that robberies are significantly on the north side also. This is a not the headline for this article. I don't need you to clarify the article for me, I know exactly what it says.
