We went down there last Christmas and most of the places we usually go to were closed, we ended up at Chilis (blah). I don't want that to happen again.
Any ideas? I know, nothing like planning ahead huh?!

Hotel restaurants tend to be open year-round. You should be OK if you go to one of those. I'd still call to confirm, rather than just showing up.

We went to the riverwalk on Christmas day a few years ago and the Original Mexican restaurant was open. It's down by Boudro's.

We ate at the new Hyatt restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and it was WONDERFUL! I agree, usually the hotel restaurants are open, though quite pricey! Enjoy!

Change of plans. We're going to Maggianos instead, got reservations so I'm not stuck waiting an hour. We'll have to drive around to see lights instead of seeing the ones at the Riverwalk. Thanks everyone!
Bummed that six flags is closed tonight, that would have been fun after dinner.
