That's because it's a holiday weekend and lots of folks were off yesterday, going out to eat w/family etc.. It couldn't be a worse situation..long holiday weekend at a brand new place...one would have to expect these crowds.

Cheddars has some of the best baby back ribs. There's one about 1/2 mile from my house. Yum...

this isn't really a great weekend to form an opinion of anything. I guarantee the suckers at 6 Flags and SeaWorld aren't enjoying the parks much when they have to share them with 30-40K people and that will all change back next weekend.

I have now worked a week there as well as eaten there. My friends loved the steaks and had a steak race to see who could finish first. The jerks were too full afterwards to get the chocolate cake sundae, which I really wanted! So far I love working there, the managers are all really nice and so are most of the servers. It has been super busy, esp the 4th! We were PACKED! Oh and if you decide to go and are sat in the atrium bring a sweater or something because it is always freezing.

I bet you won't have a problem if you go around 5:30 PM tonight. That's when I went last week and I just breezed in.
and it's a good thing that it's popular. I'm sure there are quite a few posters in this thread are not happy to see how popular it is

Went last night, got there about 5pm, waited about 5 minutes...service and food were VERY good...will definitely be back. Total bill for the two of us less than $19 before tip and we were STUFFED.

We did drink water with dinner vs something else...too much caffine already over the weekend with all the ice tea...didn't want troubles sleeping last night since it is back to the salt mines today!

Not sure if they'll miss you or not.....sounds like they are packed!

I used to feel the same way as you, till I realized I burned up that 30 minutes and a bunch of gas going to "someplace else" and often ended up waiting there as well. If it's a popular place, chances are, you'll have a wait. Might as will sit and drink or at least be comfy.
