Hey guys, anyone know of any model homes to go look at in new home communities..like say $400k plus? My fiancee and I are just looking to go through a few and get some design ideas etc to maybe scale down into the house we're building. Thanks!

I like the Highland model home in Alamo Ranch, and Sundance Ranch (the Ryland Model is fantastic).

the mercedes homes model at the vineyard's (huebner & 1604) is very nice. You may put off a bit by the color of the home (salmon) but the inside is very well put together.

try the Gehan model and Newleaf model in Gordon's Grove (Tally and Potranco). They range in the upper $250's to mid $300's. Each has some interesting designs.

Highland & Newmark homes in Stonewall Estates. I-10 in between Camp Bullis & Boerne Stage Road across from the Dominion.

The McMillin homes in Presidio aren't "high end" - but their decorating is cool! NW Military & 1604.

A lot of us came from even more expensive places. California, New York, New Jersey, Northern Virginia...imagine the glee on some of the faces.
