My husband and I drove up and down NW Military...then up and down Wurzbach Pkwy. Can't seem to find the darn entrance!

It's not open yet! The city just broke ground on the first phase of construction.

There will be an entrance to the north half off of Blanco, a few hundred feet north of Wurzbach.

The entrance to the south half will be on NW Military, just south of the Jewish Community Center.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the Salado Creek Greenway Trail. The entrance to that is at the south end of Old Blanco Road. Follow the signs and look for the parking lot about 1/4 mile in from Old Blanco.

While they're not officially open it appears they do hold public events such as this past Saturday's open house. Keep checking their calendar for upcoming events.

The yellow block represents the public parking lot. You can access the Salado Green belt from from here which is a wide concrete/paved path that leads all the way to Huebner.

Thanks everyone! I don't know why I convinced myself it was open already. Wishful thinking!
