We are driving to SA tomorrow and planning to go to Sea World Friday and Saturday. It is supposed to rain both days, and clear up by Sunday, but we are leaving Sunday morning. Just wondering if anyone has experience with Sea World in the rain...will they close all the rides? Is there much to do there indoors? Thanks!

You'll get wet.

The bigger coasters will close if it's raining actively. Most of the shows are either indoors, or under cover. These will usually stay open and running. The dolphins and whales don't care much if it's raining...

You can check online, but I don't think the water park is open at all. Just giving you a head's up incase you were counting on that.

The park is open and my daughter is working there now. They did close early yesterday because of the rain, but not that early. They will definitely close if there is lightning and the rides will close if they are wet, but the shows still go on and that's the best part about SeaWorld. I personally find the rides pretty lame and the ones at both 6 Flags parks are MUCH better. The best part about going now is it's not blazing hot, so you can run around the park and not even break a sweat. In the summer I go from shade spot to shade spot

And you'll have the whole park to yourselves!! It rains off and on (mostly off, at least today), so bring an umbrella and have fun!

they showed it on the news today and you definitely won't have to worry about lines. I personally consider that a good thing

the weather guesser also explained the next rain system and he said it could go more east, which is usually how they try to weasle their way out of an earlier forecast. However, I'm still hoping for rain, sorry. We need it real bad.
