*gasp* Do we have the other 2 lined up yet?

What a sad week for celebrities.

Yeah, very sad.

I bet all the news stations already have the tributes in place and ready to go for that one. He will be leaving a great legacy. I bet they like the advance notice they get when these guys are sick for awhile--I bet, sadly enough, that Patrick Swayze's is ready. They probably had to scramble for Michael's, though....

Nick...the story that I read said he had been on board a US Airways flight the day before. Upon landing it apparently blew a tire. A few people were knocked around but no serious injuries other than being shaken up.

There was nothing reported about Billy Mays being hurt whatsoever in that incident. I probably scared the begeezus out of everyone though. The article did not say where he was traveling from or how long of a flight it was.

Remember a year ago, Tim Russert died the day of or after a long flight from Italy. Wasn't his death due to a heart attack?

I'm not saying there is a correlation to flying and heart attacks....but both men were hard working TV personalities that dealt with a lot of pressure and stress on the job. I think Tim had even had good reports from check ups not long before he died.

Whatever the reason, its sad. Billie was certainly good at his job. He made a lot of people rich convincing others of the wonders of their products. I use a lot of them!

Billy Mays was interviewed when he got off the plane and said some of the overhead stuff landed on his head and he said he was hit pretty hard but shrugged it off. I think he may have been flying around because he had just done a spot on the Tonight Show.

Ok, did not know what kind of aircraft they meant. So weird....but I've heard of people dying the next day after being hit hard in the head (internal bleeding).

That is a definite possibility. Isn't that similar to what happened to Natasha Richardson some months ago? Head injuries can be very scary.

Native Texan Gale Storm, of "My Little Margie" fame, died at 87 years old today. I am not sure if she would count as one of the 3, but she was pretty popular back in the day.

Yeah, I guess she counts. RIP Gale.

Who's next?

Damn, Seth McFarlane has a big man-crush on Conway Twitty.

He's in the distraction segment on tonight's episode.....singing a WHOLE song from a night on Hee-Haw.
