I used to think if I tied a dust rag to the dogs tail it might work but everytime I pushed him too close to the furniture it would knock stuff off and then I'd have more work to do picking it all up. That just wasn't worth it. 
It is also great when I need to head to the store for more Hostess and Little Debbie's. I can get an entire weeks worth in there
