Alrighty folks. Not gonna start a new thread, but wanted to say my so longs! We're driving out this morning (yeah, can ya tell I'm in a hurry?~)
I've learned a lot here...
it's hot in Texas
chain food sucks
people in general don't know how to drive
Texas loves their military
RD can't stand the heat (but we can't figure out why he's still here!)
Jules loves her some good dining (and always has great recs!)
ReallyBigShoes is having a tough time with the marketing (good luck to ya)
Saphire has a thing for koolaid (musta slept thru the story behind that one)
MajorMadMax can get things done (walmart raider?)
FirstClassFlyer has the patience of a saint (link to a thread anyone?)
Bowie is a top-notch mod
and all the rest of ya are just as golden (but the car can't leave without me and the cats are getting po'd about being in the kennels!)

I'll lurk...and maybe kill a thread or two (seems to be a knack I have!), but we're off to new lands...

Cheers,
~djw

PSA....next Friday night's Missions game.....they are giving away 10 used cars if anyone is in the market and has some of that Lady Luck! Tickets are ridiculously cheap for about 3 hours of entertainment.

Heading off to Corpus now to show my son the <cough> beautiful Gulf coast. Hope you all have a pleasant day.

Boo!

Oh, and drunk people are stupid. Jeez, stay home if you can't handle your $1 beers.
Yeah, we make sure to eat on the way to the game on Thursdays, and we order beer from our favorite beer man. I'm ok with spending five bucks on a beer if I don't have to wait in those idiotic lines. I'm only going to drink a couple anyway.

We try to get the cop who stands by us to taze the drunk people but they never want to.

We also always get there by about 6:25 or so, no matter what night of the week - I like to sing the anthem and I like to be there so I can write down the lineup and get ready to keep score.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! He was my favorite. Met him a few times at UT. Guy was phenomenal during WWII. Him and Ernie Pyle.

The most trusted man in America...is gone. Cya Walter. He was a true Texan.
