Default An ex-bandmate of mine had a t-shirt that said: "Born-Again Pagans" on the back.......

When Christians came to power following the demise of the Roman Empire they borrowed (stole) the old pagan dates to use as their own holiday dates. These adopted holidays became the now famous Christmas Holidays over time but there is no doubt of their original beginning. And that's pagan.
Yeah, I have read a lot about that in the past, bresilhac, though here are only 2 interesting links I actually haven't read in years.....I'm surprised I found them, ha :

The Battle of Goliad did not take place in 1935.

Anyone passing through the I-10 / 410 interchange this morning had quite a surprise waiting for them. About 10 SAPD cars and motorcycles were passing out tickets like monopoly money. As soon as they finished writing a ticket they pulled another vehicle over. The tuesday morning massacre. There was a Chevy pickup that flew past me and I topped the hill to see an unmarked car pulling him over. Massacre I tell ya.......
