Those familiar with public phone booths will know what I mean.
No vents. Just four walls.
Once the door closed, it was like being inside a coffin.
It took very long time to go from the first to second floor.
Very uncomfortable feeling.

Yes...the Trinity elevator!

Actually, I was doing a report for the local TV news. Carrying the camera, tripod and lights,
I thought it be easier than taking the stairs to the 2nd floor.

HMMMMM....

It is interesting that there was a good deal of interest in the home , or birthplace, of former
San Antonian, Carol Burnett. Apparently the original structure was salvaged (and relocated?)
by concerned citizens.

So, the question is, what happened to the home of another famous S A resident, Academy Award winner,
Joan Crawford,( Lucille LaSeuer -sp) ?
Does anyone even know where her home was located, and what happened to it?

Anyone?

Reportedly Joan Crawford's home at birth was on South Cherry Street. Exact address unknown.

Default No,

I did not know about this upcoming attraction on the Trinity Campus, SATX. Dad attended Trinity U for a time. Thanks. He will be interested.
The Murchison Tower is a landmark of sorts near downtown not unlike the big orange dome of the
Temple Beth-El north of SAC just EAST of San Pedro @Ashby.

Lucille (Joan Crawford) LaSeur's birth date is an open question. Ranges from 1904 to as late as 1908.
Seems there is no birth certificate (or for her brother or sister). So the question is: did they still live in
San Antonio for the 1910 census? If they did, an address would be available, would it not? (Any amateur or
professional genealogist care to take a shot on this one?)

It came out April 1st thought it may have been April Fool's prank....Here's another link as I found the other one void also.

https://new.trinity.edu/news/skyline-campus-reaching-new-heights Looks the same now that i look at it. But this one works.

Gotu.us/TigerRide That URL has me skeptical..... Might be a hoax but have seen no one denying it.
