How can I make a complaint on a Realtor. There a house that my husband and I are interested. The Realtor shows us the house and says that its up for Auction. We placed an offer, and did all paper work with lender and underwriter to get loan approved for amount of the house. Well my husband and the lender were trying to negotiate with the Realotor on closing cost. The Realtor never called my husband or the lender back. My husband called twice and left a message that he would pay the closing cost and to please proceed with the contract, still no call back. What can we do, we really want this house and The Realtor [mod]name of realtor[/mod] will not call us back at least to tell us something. Please let me know. thanks

I looked him up before his name was removed. He IS a broker!!

avon ~ is this Realtor representing YOU? (Did you sign a buyer's rep agreement with him?) If so, you can surely contact the San Antonio Board of Realtors (www.sabor.com) for assistance.

Not a clue who he is. Guessing he doesn't do too much business.

I'm pretty sure your DM assessment was dead on.

Quick question for the OP. Did you have a buyer's agent helping you on the deal, or were you negotiating on your own?

avon - You can also contact the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to file complaints (and look up licensee/broker information by name). With the last year being very hard on many agents, some have just let their licenses go and left the business. As jules07 indicated you can also contact SABOR, although if they are not members of the National Association Of Realtors, they wouldn't be a member of SABOR. Not all real estate agents are Realtors. The TREC website is at TREC - Home Page

Have you checked the listing status of the property to see if perhaps they've accepted another offer? Moderator cut: see comment
Good luck, sounds like you really wanted this home.
