I love Sun Harvest and Whole Foods but would love to have another choice. Wish we could have a Trader Joes.....

We need a store east of 281 in the Encino or Cibolo Canyons area

Default could it be....

Here is my latest guess: Hippo's Deli and Grocery! Please let it be! A locally owned business, great mix of products, delicious deli, and an awesome customer service experience. It would be a great fit for Stone Oak.........

Has anyone heard anything lately about the store that is supposedly going to be in this spot? I've driven by and it seems large enough to accomidate a small grocery...that would be fantastic!!

I got this info. from a commercial real estate agent friend of mine that works specifically in the Stone Oak area. Apparently it is a small organic groc. store owned by the Sun Harvest company (I can't remember the name of the smaller store at the moment - its killing me!). I also learned that Sun Harvest was started by County Judge Nelson Wolff. He sold the company a few years ago.

Sun Harvest is owned by Smart and Final I doubt they would open a Henry's or another Sun Harvest in San Antonio last I heard the company wasn't doing too well. It's gotta be another store. I think I missed the part where you all discussed why you think its a store like a trader joe's, sun harvest etc.
