I am looking for a Mother's Day Out program for our 4 year old son, which do you all feel are the best programs? And are there any that are on or close to patranco?

Calvary Hills Baptist Church on 1604/Potranco has a 2-day-a-week program. It's been around a number of years, and is quite popular.

I looked at Calvary and was not comfortable with their program at all. I'd strongly recommend Northwest Hills Methodist on Tezel. More of a drive, but a great program.

Default Help for finding child care

This is a great website for helping find childcare. You can search by zip code and other specifics. I love it because it tells you how the school did on their state inspections. Go to DFPS - Texas Department of Family and Protective Services roll mouse over find services, the drop down menu will appear and click on search child care and then click Search for a Licensed Child Care Center or a Licensed or Registered Child Care Home.

I enjoyed sending my child to the MDO program at Prince of Peace. They do a lot with the children.

Alamo Gymnastics Center has also started a half day program 2 days a week. They do some academics and then they also get to take a gymnastics class for about 45 minutes each day!
