The one with the news anchors in their own telenovela is certainly an 'only in San Antonio' experience.

A bit OT, but the Doritos ad, where the guy acts like a bird, is the funniest ad I've seen in a long time. Do not drink coffee and work near a keyboard when you see this one.

I think this commercial let's these folks show something akin to a real personality. Unlike the "contrived" fun they show during news broadcasts. Sure, the commercial is contrived, but you know that up front. It works for me!

Rick Cavender is OK in the "normal" Cadillac commercials for his business, but the one in which he is singing just turns me off. He just does not strike me as a member of a cool band. Yes, I know he really is in a band. Does he have any groupies?

The Spurs/HEB and the Spurs/Northside Ford, commercials are always terrible.

Default The World Car Kia commercial . . .

is driving me nuts. Our family hears this ad on TV and radio all the time with the gerbils (?) saying "World Car Kia". My 7 year old goes around saying this all the time. I guess the ad is effective. If I ever wanted to buy a Kia, I would go to the World Car dealership!

I hear it all the time at work and it's driving me nuts too. I guess it works because we remember it!

Do car commercials really work? Do any commercials really work? I have never heard a car commercial and ran out and bought a car. I haven't tried the Red Head coffee yet. Maybe I should listen to some of these folks. Nah!
