I think just the CDF group alone could generate enough interest in some great deals to get it over the threshold to make the deal "done".

Besides, we ARE in a huge city...and lots of us are bargain hunters!

I joined it a couple of weeks ago on Facebook and I've heard nothing yet. It sounds great, but I am not sure they are even up and running yet--just gathering members until they can present that number to local businesses maybe?

You, too, can go to facebook.com...takes only minutes to register and you can find all sorts of cool stuff on there. My friend called me at work the other day and asked me to come babysit her kids as soon as I got off so she could go get paid to sample some fried chicken. $45 for free grub in one afternoon? Hell, I registered real quick and went myself. j/k--I couldn't leave early that particular day but she did tell me how to register for it.

This was a very prominent ad on the right side of my page....I guess I just got lucky and it was posted at a time after I had ingested my coffee. Next good thing that comes along I'll try to remember to post it here.

Just got my first Groupon offer today. $35 worth of food at Tomatillo's for $15. Gonna have to pass on this one. I thought they were coupons, since the name sounds like coupon, but no, it's like restaurant.com where you have to buy the certificate. Maybe it's just this particular offer that will work that way?

Looking forward to the next one!

I am going to pass too. I also thought it was coupons..wasn't aware you had to purchase to get the coupon. Well, going to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
