i was driving to my aunts house on sunday.

i was going 65 in the middle lane on I10 with my windows rolled down, and this white f350 speeds up on me and goes around. i think nothing of it.

then he moves in front of me and slows down to 60. i think nothing of it so i move over to the fast lane and he jerks over in front of me in a very aggressive fashion. i move back, he follows and goes slower.

and then he FLOORS it. i see the black smoke billowing out of his tailpipe and i hit the sport button pop it into 3rd and launch myself outta there. the nasty black soot is all over the cars behind us. eroding paint, preventing people from seeing the road. i felt sorry for them and knew if i haden't sped around him, that it would be me covered in that stuff.

i'm not a snitch but i wouldn't mind reporting them as a road hazard.

(i did search the forum before posting this and found nothing)

Default Smoking Vehicle Program 1-800-453-SMOG

There is great news -- you can report smoking vehicles in Texas. You can either call the Smoking Vehicle Program @ 1-800-453-SMOG or report it directly via the internet at the first link below:

Oh my Gosh, it would take me not even a second to get his plates and make a report on who ever is driving that vehicle. You took a picture of it, check if you see the plates, I will do it in a heart bit!

That is a clear example of people showing no respect for other people, I just got very irritated .....!!!!!

And it isn't a white F350.

Maybe the OP just wanted to illustrate his or her thread.

While it sounds like this guy was being an idiot there is nothing that can be done about the smoke. Unless it was longer than 10 seconds it is within the smoking limits. Diesel's can emit black smoke when floored (wide open throttle) because of the unburnt fuel.
