We are moving to the Corona/Lake Elsinore area. We have family in Horsethief Canyon Ranch and love it there, but there isn't much available. Canyon Lake looks promising, but are there a lot of kids there? We have 4 kids and would love a family-friendly community. Any other suggetions about neighborhoods in the area? Oh yeah, and a community pool is a must. We are moving from the mountains and the only way I'll move into the heat is if i can take the kids swimming! Thanks!

There should be quite a bit of housing stock in Corona/South Corona and Lake Elsinore, but significantly less in Canyon Lake. It's a very small area and I think it's quite expensive.

If you have kids, you have to consider schools. Canyon Lakes shares the same schools as Lake Elsinore. They're not the best schools.

^agreed^. And as far as family-friendly is concerned, I honestly think that Corona will fit the bill better than Lake Elsinore.
