If this is in fact the case I'd have to believe that this is a terrorist attack on US soil. And if that's what is eventually determined and confirmed, it was only a matter of time for it to happen. I think the gunmen escaped early on. That's why the emergency people been so casual about where they walk etc. They knew they were gone in the first half hour.

The Inland Regional Center might not have been the target - is appears the shooters opened fire in a room that was being used by the SB County folks for a holiday party.

This is a bit of a strange coincidence, but apparently last week a nearby Walgreens in San Bernardino was evacuated after they received a phoned in bomb threat. SWAT was called in but no bomb was found.
