Does anyone know of any? Looking for a restaurant to take my parents on Christmas day...a buffet, or nice sitdown or something. I was thinking Claim Jumper, but they aren't open.

Thanks!

Hometown Buffet is closed, but last year we ate at the Super China Buffet on Jefferson & Winchester. It was good - not great - but good.

Smile Restaurants open Christmas Day

I am looking for something open Christmas also... I do know that all the good restaurants at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula (off 15 Fwy South go left onto Rte 79 to right onto Pala Road, casino is just down the street) are open.. they have an Italian Restaurant, Asian, Beef, Buffet (OK, but not excellent, but as good as Hometown Buffet), and a few others that are open.. the buffet is open seating, the others you will need a reservation so book now. Also open is the Asia Seafood Buffet (great all you can eat Asian, sushi, seafood with crab legs, mussels, soup, desserts) is open.. it's off Murrieta Hot Springs road up near Toys are Us and in the same shopping center as Sizzler, but way up to the North in that plaza next to Burlington Coat Factory.. Address is 39825 Alta Murrieta Drive, Murrieta.. I went there last year for Christmas myself as I was alone, and like it there.. the restaurant is immaculately clean, the girls who attend to your tables give good service, pleasant enviroment, and last year they had a full Christmas tree in the restaurant at the entrance. LOADS of selections for food! It's $13.99 per person on Christmas, hours are 10:30 a.m. to 9:00.. I just called them. Phone is (951) 600-5988; to contact the Pechanga restaurants, go to the Pechanga website where you can get lots of information... A bit swankier is the Temecula Creek Inn, they have a Christmas buffet at $44 a person up until about 6:00 p.m., and afterwards the regular restaurant is open.. they are on Rainbow Road also just off Pala Road near the casino... I hear it's a good place.. Call the Temecula Creek Inn for info. We will be staying there for the holiday, so I know they are open, but don't know if we'll be going there as it's a bit pricey! Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

Super China Buffet is not really good. Ask Red Ginger (Red Ginger China Bistro) if they are open, if you want good Chinese food.

We ate at the Pala buffet last weekend and it was on par with Vegas buffets on the strip. Very good and lots of choices. Their Asian cafe (noodles) is pretty good. The Cafe is ok but nothing special. They also have Italian, a steak house, a deli, and a mexican place. I don't like the food court look to some of their restaurants, but it's a decent place for a meal and live music.
